If you've played Monopoly GO for more than a week, you'll know the pain already. You're staring at three spare gold stickers, but the one card you need is still missing. That's why the next Golden Blitz has people watching the calendar so closely, right alongside events like the Monopoly Go Partners Event, because both can change your whole album progress in a single day. The current community talk points to May 24, 2026, with Wake Up Goldilocks from Set 21 and Forest of Thorns from Set 23 expected to be the two tradeable golds. Scopely doesn't really hand us a neat public schedule, so players are piecing this together from Discord polls, past timing, and the usual event gaps.
Why this Blitz mattersGolden Blitz is a strange little event, but it's one of the most important ones if you're chasing album completion. Most of the time, gold stickers are locked. You can't send them, trade them, or help a friend who's one card short. During Blitz, though, two chosen gold stickers open up for trading. Not every gold. Just those two. That's the catch. If you've got a duplicate of one featured sticker, you can send it to another player. If you only own one copy, the game won't let you give it away, which is a relief because nobody wants to wreck their own set by tapping too fast.
How trading usually worksOnce the event starts, you'll see the Golden Blitz icon on the right side of the board. From there, head into your album and check the featured stickers. If you've got an extra, you can send it or set up an exchange. You also get five special gold sends for the event, and these don't use up your normal daily trade slots. That part is huge. It means you can still do regular sticker swaps while sorting out gold trades. A lot of players forget that and waste time thinking they need to choose one or the other.
Don't trust random trades too quicklyIf you're trading with real-life friends, fine, do what works. But if you're dealing with someone from Facebook groups, Discord, Reddit, or a comment section, use the in-game exchange. Always. People get scammed during Golden Blitz because the pressure is high and the window is short. You don't have to accept a gold-for-gold deal either. Some players will take a strong five-star card, a few four-stars, or a pile of stars if they're trying to open a vault. Ask clearly. Confirm the sticker name. Then use the exchange so both sides are protected.
Make your move earlyThe worst time to hunt for a Blitz trade is the last hour. By then, the easy swaps are gone, people stop replying, and the asking price gets silly. Try to line up trades before the event even begins, then finish them as soon as it goes live. If you miss it, you're back to sticker packs, Quick Wins, tournament rewards, and hoping a Sticker Boom gives you better odds. Some players also look for outside help with event progress and may choose to buy Monopoly Go Partner Event support when they're short on time, but for gold stickers, being ready during Blitz is still the cleanest play.
