At the Dead Trees, you’ll need to destroy them in order to progress. This will unlock the entrance to The Voiceless Grove, a place shrouded in eerie silence. However, your respite will be short-lived as the serpent reappears to block your way once again. As your allies engage in conversation, a Wailing Soul will appear, slowing your movement when you come near it.
Overcoming the Wailing Souls and Vengeful Spirits
The Wailing Soul is just the beginning of your troubles. As you defeat it, more Wailing Souls will spawn, along with Vengeful Spirits in the western section of the quest area. These spectral enemies can prove quite troublesome, so keep your guard up as you clear them from your path.
The Elite Spirit and Escorting Neyrelle
After you’ve dealt with all the enemies, an Elite Spirit named Nikola will appear. She’s a formidable foe, so be prepared for a tough battle. Once you defeat Nikola, you’ll be tasked with escorting Neyrelle into The Swamp of Vanished Souls. This marks the end of the quest, and you’ll receive a well-earned reward of XP and Gold.
