When people start hunting the Elephant Obelisk in ARC Raiders, they usually want the same two things: a clean project item and a route that does not feel like a trap. The item sits in the Project pool, so I'd treat it as something worth keeping the moment it drops. If you are sorting through ARC Raiders Items, this one deserves more respect than a random bit of stash clutter.
What does the Elephant Obelisk actually do?It is tied to Projects, and the requirement is simple: one Elephant Obelisk. That sounds small, but it changes how you handle it in raid. You do not want to toss it for loose ammo, cheap food, or some filler scrap. If your bag is getting crowded, the smart move is to protect the Obelisk and leave the junk behind. A lot of players only realise that after they have already made the wrong call and had to run the route again.
Where are players most likely to find it?The best-known low-risk path is the Blue Gate Highway Collapse route. It is not the fastest route in the game, and that's fine. It gives you enough checks to feel worth the trip without pushing you into constant fights. The hidden ledge camp is the spot that matters most here. That's where the Elephant Obelisk has turned up, along with grenades and a few other useful bits. Before you even get there, you can still pull value from the first bus weapon case, cars, buses, backpacks, suitcases, and the little loot pockets under the highway. If you're running it properly, bring a crash mat, snap hook, or zipline. Falling off that ledge for no reason is just painful, and you'll kick yourself for it.
Should you keep looting after you find one?Usually, no. Once the Obelisk is in your bag, the raid changes. It stops being a farming run and turns into an extraction run. People often get greedy and keep pushing for one more case or one more bag, then lose the item to a bad angle or a stupid fight. If you still want extra value, finish the nearby checks on the highway, but keep it tight. The route can still give you backpacks, med bags, blueprint chances, and odd materials on the way out. That said, if the Obelisk drops early, I'd get moving and stop pretending the raid owes you anything else.
If you want a calm way to farm it, keep the route simple and repeat it. Check the highway collapse path, hit the hidden camp, and only stay longer if the run still feels safe. The same mindset works for other project pieces too, and it saves a lot of frustration. If you'd rather turn a successful raid into a quick win, buy ARC Raiders Trinkets and keep your stash from getting clogged up by low-value extras before the next run.
