If you’re seeing the FHE01 error in Forza Horizon 6, don’t panic—it’s a common PC crash that many players face. Unlike video card or memory-specific errors (FHC/FHD codes), FHE01 means the game executable unexpectedly closed. Most often, it pops up right after the intro cutscene, at the start menu, or when loading into settings.

1. Uninstall or Close Citrix Workspace (Most Common Fix)

An unusual conflict with Citrix Workspace is one of the top causes for FHE01.

How to fix:

Completely uninstall Citrix Workspace via Windows Apps & Features, then restart your PC.

If you need Citrix for work, make sure all Citrix background processes and
virtual display adapters are closed in the Task Manager before launching the game.
